Symptoms

The gastro-intestinal tract is composed of multiple organs and extends through much of the body. As such, there is a wide array of symptoms that are related to pathology in this system. Symptoms may be caused by local disease, as well as a multitude of systemic disorders. The most important gastro-intestinal symptoms are summarized here.
